How do Celebrities Fight Cellulite?

Cellulite is a skin condition that is predominantly seen in women. It makes the skin in areas like the upper thighs, abdomen, buttocks, and upper arms appear dimpled or lumpy. Unfortunately, 98% of women experience some cellulite on their bodies in their lifetime, and though it is in no way harmful, it can really knock your confidence. The real question is, however, how do celebrities fight off cellulite and keep their bodies in tip-top shape? Well, we’re here to tell you!

Kim Kardashian

Kim K. has been very candid about her cellulite. To combat it, she has tried Velashape, which is a machine that uses radiofrequency and infrared light to break down the fat underneath the skin and a vacuum suction massage to drain the fat through your lymph nodes and ensure it is removed through your urine. Though effective, the downside to Velashape is that it is expensive and ineffective in the long term. Kim also SWEARS by using body makeup to contour her body and hide her cellulite.

Miranda Kerr

Rather than using high-tech treatments like the Kardashians, Miranda Kerr uses dry brushing every morning to stimulate circulation and fat drainage from her lymph nodes. She claims that it is a really effective way to reduce the appearance of cellulite, but in order to be effective, it must be done every day!

Jennifer Lopez

Everyone knows that Jennifer Lopez is the goddess of aging beautifully! She swears by Dr. Howard Murad’s advice and eats foods high in lecithin, like spinach, citrus fruits, and tomato juice. Dr. Murad illustrates that cellulite is a skin problem rather than a fat problem, and in order to reduce cellulite, you need to eat foods rich in lecithin, fatty acids and antioxidants to reduce fluid retention, cellular inflammation, and to increase circulation.

Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz also swears by Dr. Murad’s advice! Her go to meal is homemade vegetable soup that is packed with lecithin, antioxidants, and amino acids that all help deal with cellulite.

Jennifer Anniston

Jennifer Anniston reduces her cellulite by using body wraps. Body wraps tightly compact the skin and can really reduce the appearance of cellulite by smoothing out the fat cells. Though it isn’t a permanent fix, it seems to work for Ms. Anniston!

Kate Moss

Kate Moss swears by eating foods rich in antioxidants and lecithin in order to combat her cellulite. By eating foods like eggs, spinach, nuts, and seeds, as well as working out she says that her cellulite reduces!
